"Hello! Here's a little insight into who I am and what I do."
My name is Elaine, I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in education and a mum of four, now adult children. I’ve gained qualifications in NLP, EMDR, EFT, Positive Psychology, as well as Solution Focused and Transformational Therapy. (All of which are explained in a little more detail below.) I also have an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (ADCH) and a Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) which is a qualification issued by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the NCFE in the UK. The NCFE is an independent educational awarding body.
I offer support to both children and adults in overcoming life’s challenges with hypnotherapy. I truly believe that everyone deserves the chance to heal, grow, and live freely—without the limitations that hold them back from feeling happy and hopeful.

Solution-Focused Therapy is a forward-thinking, goal-oriented approach designed to help you create meaningful and lasting change. Instead of focusing on past problems, this method emphasizes your strengths, resources, and the vision you have for your future. By identifying clear goals and taking small, practical steps, Solution-Focused Therapy empowers you to overcome challenges and achieve the positive outcomes you desire.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps people heal from trauma and tough memories. It uses guided eye movements to process these experiences and reduce their emotional impact.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) blend cognitive therapy with or without physical touch, but only with the client's consent, to help relieve emotional stress. This approach, often called "tapping," involves gently tapping on specific points on your body while focusing on your emotional issues. It can help reduce feelings of anxiety, fear, and other negative emotions.
The transformational process involves guiding someone into a deeply relaxed state, uncovering the root causes of their challenges within their subconscious, reframing unhelpful beliefs into empowering ones, and reinforcing the positive changes to ensure they are lasting. This process is highly personalized and can address a wide range of issues, from anxiety and phobias to confidence and habit changes.
NLP techniques are utilized to reprogram thought patterns, enabling personal and professional growth. It can also be used to address issues such as phobias, anxiety, low confidence, limiting beliefs and unhelpful habits
By promoting resilience, optimism and hope, clients take back control, focusing on their strengths, can start to build confidence, and develop a more positive mindset. By using hypnosis, these uplifting ideas can sink in more deeply, making it easier to feel happier, more motivated, and emotionally balanced.
